The foundation of Indian School Wadi Kabir (ISWK) was laid in 1941 as a Gujarati medium school with a vision to impart quality education to the children hailing from the business fraternity. As the years passed the need to keep up with a dynamic educational scenario came to the force, and in 1979 the School introduced English as the medium of instruction. As the school’s high standards of imparting quality education had already started attracting students from all communities, the need to endorse a more holistic curriculum was realised. Successfully adhering to highest standards of educational excellence over the years, the school thus recognised its potential of successfully venturing into the adoption of a globally relevant and progressive curriculum, thus laying the foundation of ISWK [Cambridge] in July 2017 as the first Indian School offering the Cambridge Curriculum with the recognition and approval of the Directorate of the Ministry of Education.
