Indian School Wadi Kabir [Cambridge] proudly hosted STEAMposium 2025, an Inter-School STEAM Symposium, on November 6, 2025, themed “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation.” The event brought together young innovators from seven leading schools across Oman to showcase projects blending science, technology, art, and ethics. With expert judges from academia and industry, creative exhibits, and captivating performances—including the Upcycle Orchestra—the symposium celebrated innovation, collaboration, and ethical awareness, reaffirming ISWK [Cambridge]’s commitment to nurturing future-ready learners.

STEAM Week showcased innovation across the school and marked the culmination of learning from regular STEAM lessons. Grades 5 and 6 presented an Upcycled Orchestra, crafting percussion, string, and wind instruments from everyday materials and performing on stage and at the Inter-School STEAMposium. Grades 1 & 2 enjoyed exciting Science Explorations. Grades 3 & 4 explored their story telling skills along with Shadow Puppet show. The STEAMposium, themed on AI and human agency in education, hosted seven schools presenting inventive projects blending technology, creativity, and ethical thinking where learners of Grades 7 & 8 were the participants.
