Rajendra Ved is a well-established ‘Entrepreneur and Businessman’. He is the Managing Director of Lakhoo’s Group of Companies [Exchange, Trading]. He has been in Oman for the last 43 years and is actively involved in several social activities. His family has been in Oman since 1904. Rajendra Ved is the Executive Director of the School Management Committees (Indian School Wadi Kabir & Indian School Wadi Kabir Cambridge International), and Treasurer of the Banyan Merchant Community (BMC).

Alkesh is a Tax Partner at EY Muscat, specializing in corporate taxation services. Alkesh joined EY in 2005 and is based in the Muscat office. He has over 24 years of professional experience in Oman.
Alkesh is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Alkesh is also a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the Maharaja Sayajirao University, India.

Gargi is an experienced Education Strategy Consultant with over 30 years in the sector. With extensive expertise in consulting and training, she actively supports quality assurance and institutional enhancement in higher education. She has been deeply engaged with Indian community schools in Oman since 2003, serving on the School Management Committees of Indian School Muscat and Indian School Wadi Al Kabir. As a founding member of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir Cambridge International (ISWKI), she now serves as the Honorary President of its School Management Committee, providing strategic leadership to enhance academic excellence and student experience.

Shilpa is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in wealth advisory, ESG investing, valuations, and strategic financial planning. She currently serves as a Wealth Advisor at Ahlibank, where she works closely with high-net-worth individuals, guiding them through their financial journeys with wisdom, empathy, and vision.
Her work blends deep financial expertise with a passion for purpose-driven growth. Certified in ESG Investing by the CFA Institute and in Wealth & Investment Management, Shilpa champions responsible investing and long-term value creation. Her approach is rooted in integrity, clarity, and a belief that true wealth goes beyond numbers.
A natural leader, Shilpa is also the Convener of the Managing Committee at ISWK Cambridge International, where she plays a key role in shaping academic direction and driving strategic initiatives that enhance the student learning experience. Her leadership at the school reflects her deep commitment to education, community building, and empowering the next generation.

He is currently working with Management of Hindu Temple, Muscat, since 2020. Prior to that he carries 15+ years of diversified working experience with various multinational banks.

Dr. Hiral Kamath is Founder and Radiologist of Aafiyaa Imaging and Diagnostic center, Muscat. She is a Radiologist and is involved in Breast Cancer screening and Awareness and mammography. She has been in Oman for a long time and has done her schooling in Oman. She was the first secretary of the Indian School Muscat Alumni association. She is part of our Academic Subcommittee in the school and has been part of the ISWKi family since the start.

Kanan Khimji is a fifth-generation leader at the Khimji Ramdas (KR) Group and carries forward its legacy as one of Oman’s most respected business conglomerates. As the daughter of Anil Mathradas Khimji, she embodies both the deep-rooted values and the fresh, forward-thinking ideas that have kept the company thriving for over a century.
Kanan was born in Mumbai, India, and grew up in Muscat where she did her schooling at the American British Academy. She moved to the UK for her higher education and completed her Bachelors’ in Graphic Design and Photography from Camberwell College of London. Kanan started her career in advertising in Mumbai. She returned to Oman as a director at Khimji Ramdas, where she oversees the operations of the businesses with a particular focus on the Consumer Products Cluster.
As a business leader, she has been instrumental in driving new initiatives to strengthen the successful legacy of the KR group and helped foster its sustainable development objectives. At the helm of the Consumer Products Cluster of the Group since 2014, she has spearheaded campaigns to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Kanan is a strong believer in the transformative power of education and supports numerous educational initiatives in Oman and overseas. She is an active member of the school management committee at the Indian School Wadi Kabir International (ISWKi) which oversees quality international education for a multitude of children from the Indian diaspora.
With her unique blend of entrepreneurial insight, creativity, and a deep sense of social responsibility, Kanan’s leadership goes beyond managing operations – it focuses on making a lasting, positive impact on the community.
