Pursuing Mechanical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University, Canada

Studying at ISWK [CAMBRIDGE] was honestly one of the best parts of my school life. The teachers always made learning feel less like a chore and more like a conversation, especially in biology. My bio teacher had this way of breaking down tough concepts into simple ideas, and you could tell they really cared about whether we understood or not. The whole school environment felt warm and supportive, like everyone wanted you to do well—not just in grades, but as a person too. It made coming to class something I actually looked forward to.

The memories, teachers, students and the environment at ISWKi were just amazing!! The classmates I had are some of the coolest and most amazing friends I could have ever asked for. I had so much fun during my tenure at ISWKi, participating in annual events, going on trips, and surprisingly studying maths. It was great, the teachers were very supportive and encouraging, always there for us and guiding our every step. The academic aspect was excellent, having a wide array of subjects and experienced teachers. The school really felt like a big family where I got to make friends with so many people, debate with them, dance with them, collaborate with them etc. Altogether, ISWKi gave me not just knowledge, but also friendships, memories, and lessons that will stay with me forever.

The time I’ve spent in this school was time I valued every second of, and across the 8 years I’ve spent at the school, nothing felt more like a second home, between the close relations I’ve formed with other students and staff, and the well crafted learning environment that gave me every tool I needed to grow. Having just graduated, its a time I’ve already started to cherish

Majoring in CS/AI at Carnegie Mellon University

My time at ISWK-Cambridge has been nothing short of extraordinary. The teachers here genuinely care about us students as people, treating us like their own children. What made this school exceptional was the combination of well-structured classes and outstanding educational quality, particularly for STEM subjects at A-levels. When we struggled with concepts, no matter how simple or complex, they’d literally sit with us until we got it—with no time limits. This wasn’t because they had to, but because they were genuinely passionate about their respective subjects and actually wanted to teach us ideas and concepts properly. Through this experience, I finished school strongly believing that you can genuinely enjoy the simple act of learning.

During my tenure as head boy in my junior year, I got to work side by side with these teachers who became more like family and mentors than authority figures. My connection with them went way beyond the classroom as they supported us through everything—from World Scholar’s Cup prep when we wanted to give up, to encouraging our personal projects by asking “what do you need to make this happen?”

What really struck us was that even when you work up the courage to approach someone like the principal with a concern or an idea, they’d actually stop, turn to us, listen, and instead of just making false promises, they’d actually work hand in hand with the students and student council to find real solutions. In most cases, reaching people in such high positions is not always this easy.

I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience at ISWK-Cambridge—more than high quality education and support, the school gave us a family that believed in who we could become.
