Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations

At ISWK [Cambridge], we conduct the Cambridge Primary and Lower Secondary Checkpoint Examinations, providing valuable diagnostic feedback to prepare learners for their next academic stage.

Series: We mainly conduct the May series for both Primary and Lower Secondary Checkpoint examinations. Registration begins in December each year.

Primary (Grade 5): Learners work on a team project exploring a local issue from personal, local, and global perspectives. It is assessed internally and moderated by Cambridge.

Lower Secondary (Grade 8): Learners complete an individual research report (800–1,000 words) investigating a global issue, evaluating perspectives, and proposing solutions. This is internally marked and externally moderated by Cambridge.

These assessments foster critical thinking, collaboration, research, and communication skills, preparing students for IGCSE and beyond.
