Autism Awareness – 28/4/2026
The ABLE department conducted an Autism Awareness initiative at the school on 28/4/26.The initiative was led by the students of Grade 8C by organizing a special assembly to highlight the importance of understanding, acceptance and inclusion of individuals with autism.A school-wide poster-making activity was also held, where students shared creative messages promoting awareness.
To show support, staff members dressed in blue, symbolizing solidarity with the cause.The activity successfully promoted awareness and encouraged a more inclusive school environment.
Positive Discipline Session – 23/04/2026
Grades 6–8 students participated in an interactive workshop conducted by the ABLE department along with the Disciplinary team,focusing on Positive Discipline. In middle school, social dynamics and emotional regulation become more complex, and our session aimed to give students the tools to navigate these years with confidence and accountability. The students were also briefed on the school rules,policies and disciplinary actions.



Parent Engagement Session – 11/04/2026
On 11/04/2026, at ISWKI ABLE department hosted its first ‘Smart Parenting Tips for Growing Minds’ session, bringing together parents of Grades 3–8 for an inspiring 45-minute morning . Guided by research , parents explored how to set loving boundaries, build intrinsic motivation, and manage screen time across different age groups. We discussed why children without consistent limits often struggle — and how small, calm changes at home make a lasting difference. Parents left with a digital practical handbook, a personal commitment card, and renewed confidence.


All the donated items were shared with the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disabilities. We also had the special opportunity to visit the center, spend meaningful time with the children, and hand over the gifts together with our students.
The drive was all about spreading kindness, empathy, and the true joy of sharing, just what Christmas is all about 🎄🤍

The Care & Special Education (CSE) Department organized its Annual Event – Exhibition 2026, titled “Teach to Reach – Expanding Possibilities.”
This exhibition was not just a display of teaching-learning materials, but a powerful reminder of the importance of inclusive education. By welcoming staff members, students, and parents, the event created a space where every learner’s potential could be celebrated.
The motive was clear: to highlight how innovative practices and creative resources can expand opportunities for all, ensuring that education reaches every child, regardless of ability.
Our school and department actively participated, presenting meaningful displays that reflected the values of accessibility, creativity, and inclusivity.
✨ A highlight of the event was the CSE Inter-School Poster Competition, where our students showcased their talent and imagination, proving that inclusive platforms empower every voice to shine:

Ace the Exams!
On 27th February 2025, the ABLE Department organised an “Ace the Exams” session for IGCSE Year 2, AS, and A-Level students as they gear up for their board exams.
This interactive session aimed to motivate students and provide them with essential insights on:
Cambridge guidelines
Effective preparation tips
Smart learning strategies
Exam day routine
To end on a high note, students engaged in a visualisation exercise of their results, reinforcing the belief that their future is in their hands!

On January 23, 2025, the A.B.L.E Department at ISWK [Cambridge] organized an Adolescence Awareness Session for girls in Grades 5, 6, and 7.
The session featured Dr. Shahila T. Sheikh, a renowned gynecologist, who guided our young learners through the physiological and psychological changes during adolescence. Dr. Sheikh offered practical advice on managing these transitions effectively and addressed the students’ queries, leaving them feeling informed, reassured, and confident.
The session was incredibly informative and engaging, leaving our students with a deeper understanding of these important aspects of their development.
A big thank you to Dr. Shahila T. Sheikh for her expert guidance and to our enthusiastic young learners for their active participation!

The ABLE Department, in collaboration with StudyCo, successfully organized an insightful career session at Indian School Wadi Kabir Cambridge. Representatives from Monash University and Wilfrid Laurier University visited our campus, providing students with valuable information about their programs, admission guidelines, and career opportunities.
Students had the opportunity to interact with the representatives, gaining clarity on courses, admission procedures, visa guidelines, and more. This session was a great platform for students to explore global education prospects and make informed decisions about their future.
