The COVID-19 Task Force Committee
ISWK international school has convened a powerful task force
management to support all the health and safety guidelines prescribed
by the Health and Education Ministry, Government of Oman, prior to
school reopening to be able to handle all possible scenarios for Hybrid
Learning.
Building the Team
A COVID-19 Task Force has been
structured comprising of members from
the following departments within the
school: SMC, building & facilities, health &
safety, school medical staff,
communication and partnerships with
parents, student affairs, ABLE team, and
school academic affairs (curriculum and
teaching).
Managing the Tasks
The School COVID-19 Task Force is
responsible for all the precautionary
measures for the school’s functioning as
per SOP(standard operating procedures).
As a preparatory procedure, the COVID-19
Task Force team conducted a risk
assessment to ensure that the school is all
set for reopening. The Task Force team
was in the front line for handling any
emergency health situation, following up
and monitoring the implementation of
health and safety procedures, conducting
all necessary training for students and
staff, and disseminating awareness and
information to parents and other
concerned stakeholders. This team is also
responsible for the designated isolation
room within the school premises in case
any learner is found with discomfort.
