Junior Sports Day

On Monday the 21st of November, our school ISWKi celebrated the Annual Junior
Sports Day with great enthusiasm. On the occasion, the principal of Sri Lankan
International School of Muscat, Mr. Malith Kumarasinghe was invited as our chief

guest. Our honorary president of the School Management Committee Ms. Gargi
Chugh, respected principal Mr. D.N. Rao and the vice principal Ms. Shashikala
Prabhat graced the occasion with their benign presence.

The program started with a torch relay by our tiny tots. All the students and
teachers were very energetic that day and full of rigor. The enthusiasm could be
easily seen in their eyes. Our chief guest and other dignitaries inaugurated our
sports program by lighting the lamp and paying respect. Various sports programs

were organized by the School P.E. Department on this day in which students
participated with great healthy competition. All the games were organized in the
ISWKi playground.

After all the games were over, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which all
the winners were given prizes at the hands of our chief guest and other
respected dignitaries. In the end, our chief guest also gave a motivational
speech, in which he encouraged everyone to participate in the field of sports and

also talked about many benefits of doing sports activities.
