Celebrating Oman's 52nd National Day

On the 18th of November each year, the Omani people celebrate the

achievements of their homeland and the birth anniversary of their beloved and
late Sultan Qaboos, who was the pioneer to establish a renaissance in this great
country. This day is always celebrated as the National Day of the Sultanate of
Oman. Oman's National Day is considered one of the important occasions that is

celebrated throughout the length and breadth of the Sultanate. The citizens of
the country celebrate this day in different ways by singing folk songs, performing
traditional dances and participating in various events and activities. They express
their joy on this occasion. On this Special day, a school assembly about the

importance of this day was held at our School. Its purpose is to increase
students' awareness about the importance of this day. Arabic language learners
from different nationalities participated in expressing their gratitude and joy
towards this country and His Majesty. The assembly presented various

paragraphs from the Holy Quran, duas or wishes and phrases, patriotic songs,
indications of the flag, celebrations across Oman and facts and information about
Sultan Qaboos and Sultan Haitham bin Tariq.
