ENGLISH WEEK CELEBRATIONS

English week showcased various talents across different grades of Indian
School Wadi Kabir International. Students collaborated with each other

to create amazing performances. This helped boost the confidence of the
students.
A variety of the best student submissions across all grades from K1 to AS

levels were collated and an English Breakfast show was created for the
special English assembly. The special assembly showcased creative ways

to represent a plethora of topics in English. They included rhymes,
characterisations, book reviews, tenses, karaoke, advertising, radio shows,
famous speeches and authors, etc. Students enjoyed in-class innovation

and creative presentations of TED Talks and RJ shows. These wonderful

performances were presented by a handpicked team of talented
presenters who developed a show script as a theater performance itself.
The presenters along with guidance of the teachers planned, wrote and

prepared a script highlighting old and new English speaking styles by
introducing modern show hosts alongside popular characters like The

Queen, William Shakespeare and Shashi Tharoor who are all well known
for their impeccable English. The entire show was edited and presented
in the special assembly by the strong team of student hosts Arnav,

Bhumika, Sarah, Gritha, Gaveesh along with English teachers Ms. Priti and
Ms Thangalaxmi. The visual presentation sound effects were edited and

presented in the assembly by Netransh. The school Principal, Mr. Sanjay
Tiwari appreciated the efforts of all the students in the school who

participated in English week and congratulated the Hosts for presenting
an entertaining and educative show. It was a week well spent creatively.
