Student Council

True leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders.

Year after year the Student Council Election is an event we all look

forward to decide our new student leaders. All our 24 young student
leaders deserve to be applauded for their wonderful efforts. They were in
the forefront for the major events of the school, that was organized

virtually such as the investiture ceremony, teacher’s day and not to miss
out the sports day. They gave it a mind- boggling touch by putting in
their talents and creativity. 2020-21 Student council was full of vigour,
energy and enthusiasm, even the Pandemic could not dissuade them
from achieving their goals.

We take this opportunity to thank the outgoing Head council, they were
the backbone of the student council. Harshitha Anand, Saeeb Ahmed
Numaeer, Nandini Joshi, Manath Ajmani, Vaishant Bafna and Purab

Tanna , were there to willingly support and guide their Juniors. They had
the tenacity to complete any task assigned to them steadfastly and they
set an example as good leaders because leadership is not about a
position or a title, but action and example. And, these children proved
their leadership. Kudos to all.

Having said the above, Student Council nominations for 2021-2022 was
announced recently and the list of candidates is now finalized. The

candidates will begin their virtual campaign followed by panel interview
and voting, which is scheduled for 9th May, 2021. We look forward for
more enthusiastic and vibrant leaders to lead the student body.
