Cambridge IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education)

  • Taken at the Grade 10 level, parallel to the Grade 10 examinations of the CBSE and ICSE
  • Assessment curriculum spread over Grades 9th and 10th
  • Final examinations conducted by ISWK [Cambridge] in November of Grade 10
  • Forms the eligibility criteria for any +2 level qualification, like Grade 12 CBSE/ ICSE or any international pre-university program, like A/AS Level offered by Cambridge International Curriculum
  • Offers a wide range of subjects
  • Assessment consists of written, oral and listening tests
  • Offers a balanced curriculum and flexible course of study
  • Syllabi tailored for a more multi-cultural and more multi-lingual audience making it more appealing than any other international curriculum
  • A student can enroll into IGCSE even after completing earlier schooling through a different board
  • All IGCSE authorized schools across the world follow a common curriculum thus the students have enormous mobility and transferability

How does the Cambridge Qualification help students applying for universities?

  • In the UK, Cambridge IGCSE is accepted as equivalent to the GCSE
