Students in Grades 9 & 10 study the Internationally recognized IGCSE Programme. As a result, our students develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to remain relevant and competitive in a changing world.
Cambridge programmes combine an emphasis on mastering subjects in depth with the development skills for study and work in the future. The deep subject knowledge as well as the conceptual understanding is what helps students make links between different aspects of a subject. Students are encouraged to develop higher order thinking skills - problem solving, critical thinking, independent research, collaboration and presenting arguments. These are transferable skills that will last a lifetime, preparing students for their future lives. They also make learning enjoyable and rewarding.
Qualifications from Cambridge are globally recognized and accepted by universities and employers at home and around the world. A Cambridge qualification comes with an impressive reputation, and will retain its value for a lifetime of education and employment.
The syllabuses are international in outlook, but retain a local relevance. They have been created specifically for an international student body and avoid cultural bias.
It is a two year program and learners will sit for their exams in the month of October-November of every academic year. Learners are expected to choose any six from the subjects offered to complete a Cambridge qualification. To take into account differing abilities, there is a choice between Core and Extended curriculum papers in some subjects.
