LITERACY DAY

Kindergarten Activity

The Literacy Week for the academic year 2022-23 commenced from the 4th to
7th of September 2022. The week showcased myriad activities and learners
actively participated to show their creative side. The aim was to infuse the
learners with appreciation, understanding, love, and most important usage of the

English language.
The first activity conducted during Literacy Week was talking about their favorite
story character which helped the learners to increase their speaking skills, as
well as become socially responsible with greater cooperation in the classroom,

good decision-making skills, and a more caring, thoughtful attitude towards
others. The learners participated with great zeal and enthusiasm in activities.
The next activity conducted was poem recitation. Poetry can help learners tap
into their creativity by encouraging them to think about the new and unexpected

relationships between words. The learners were more confident at the end of
these activities.
