RHYME RECITATION

Poetry is the core of literature. To spread the fragrance of poetry amongst the

learners of K1 Creators and Discoverers, a Rhyme Recitation Competition was
organised in our school. Our adorable poets enjoyed the beauty of expression,

thought, feeling, rhyme, rhythm and the music of words. The learners made all the
characters of each rhyme come alive. They enthralled their educators and friends
with their articulation and memory skills while reciting rhymes. They were judged on
the props they used, confidence and clarity of speech. The main purpose behind

conducting such competitions is to build self confidence, develop the oratory skills
and self expression. The winners were applauded and praised for their capabilities.

All the participants were given certificates. The judges of this event appreciated and
applauded the performance of the children.

The results of the Rhyme Recitation are as follows:

K1 Discoverers:
1st place Ishika Biju
