Model United Nations, also known as

MUN, is an educational simulation
in which learners learn and practice
about diplomacy, international

relations, and the United Nations. At
an MUN conference, learners work

as the representative of a country,
and must solve a problem with other
delegates from around the world.

MUN teaches participants research,
speaking, debating, and writing

skills, in addition to critical thinking,
teamwork, and leadership abilities.

It is meant to engage learners and
allow them to develop deeper

understanding into current world
issues.

The United Nations (UN) is a global
organization formed to promote

international cooperation. The
United Nations can make a move on

the challenges confronting mankind
in the twenty-first century, for

example, peace and security,
environmental change, reasonable
course of events, and basic

freedoms.
