The answer lies in its historical past influenced by the great leaders and
profound individuals, who helped to shape the present and Independent
India as we all know and adore. We were indeed fortunate to have with
us an impressive array of guests. Our Chief Guest for the function was
Mr. Harshendu Shah, a very prominent and distinguished figure in the
business and education community in the Sultanate. He has been
instrumental in the development of the Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir,
as well as the ISWK International school. Also present were Mr. Alkesh
Joshi and Mrs. Gargi Chugh, Hon. Presidents of ISWK and ISWKi School
management committees respectively. Esteemed members of the SMC of
both the institutions, members of the Educational Cell, Principals, and
Vice-Principals of other Indian Schools in Oman were part of the
celebration.
“Everything comes to us that belongs to us, if we create the capacity to
receive it.” Rabindranath Tagore.
A thousand salutes to India, our beloved motherland.
