73rd Republic
day of India
Republic Day is celebrated on the 26th of January every year
to mark the day on which our Constitution came into effect in
1950. The fundamental law of the country, the Constitution,
was enacted out of the diligence and hard work of great men
like Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous other freedom
fighters who fought and sacrificed their lives for the
independence of our country.
The day was celebrated with great pomp throughout the
country, especially in educational institutions. It was likewise
celebrated virtually at ISWK & ISWKi with great enthusiasm.
The Chief Guest of the day was Mrs Riddhi Dharamsey. The
Guests of Honor were Shri Anil Khimji, Shri Kiran Asher and
Shri Rajendra Ved. The program emerged with snippets of the
Republic Day celebration from the National capital, New Delhi
followed by the release of tricolor balloons. The National
Anthem was tuned to represent the country’s identity. An
exclusive documentary designed by the ISWKi team was
played, which explained the struggles & the development the
nation has gone through to achieve its current position. The
event proceeded with the following programs.
1. Remarkable speech by our Guests of Honor.
2. Dance performance by the KG learners of ISWK.
3. Chorus song by ISWKi learners.
4. Dance by ISWKi Educators & Learners.
5. A distinctive address by our Chief guest Mrs Riddhi
Dharamsey.
6. Dance by ISWK learners.
7. Chorus song by ISWK learners.
The anchoring done by the learners of ISWK & ISWKi was
outstanding and it turned out to be an exceptional event that
will always be remembered by us.
