DANCE COMPETITION

Dancers don’t need wings to fly!

To encourage our learners ISWKi organized an Inter-house Solo Dance competition on 23/08/2023. This
competition was conducted group-wise. Each Group had a different genre like World Folk, Hip hop and
Freestyle

There were three judges for the competition one among them was a very well-known Choreographer
Mr.Kamlesh. He has represented India in the World Hip Hop Dance Championship and is the head trainer at
the Kings dance studio, Oman. Vidushi Smt Theertha Kateel is the director of Brahmari Nritya Academy
Mangalore. She has performed in various National and International cultural events. She has given more than
2000 performances under the guidance of her guru Vidushi smt Geeta Saralaya and Rashmi Chidanand.

Mr. Delicious Sahadevan who comes with an illustrious career span of over two decades, he has left a mark
in the Bollywood industry and Oman. He has worked with numerous well-known Bollywood stars and
choreographers. He takes inspiration from Sanjay Shetty, an individual whom he regards as his mentor. In
2012, Delicious Sahadevan leaped to nurture young talents by establishing his dance academy in Oman.

All the houses participated with full enthusiasm. The energy of the audience also sparked the participants’
performance.

For Group C :
First position - Carlina from Prithvi house
Second position - Nicole from Vaayu house
Third position - Yashvi Bhatt from Vaayu house
