Planting campaign

Mission Green – an initiative by the learners of AS Creators and A Level
conducted an Indoor plant activity in the school, in the month of September and

October, 2022. They had called volunteers from grade 4 and above and guided
them about how to plant a sapling and prepare a soil for it. The junior learners did
the entire process of mixing the soil to planting the sapling on their own under the
guidance of senior learners.

The learners took the potted plant to their classrooms and are nurturing it and
seeing it grow.
This activity gave an insight to young learners on the importance of plants and
also developed their interest in indoor plants. Few learners also happen to have

repeated the same at their house. The learners not only learned about green-
cover conservation but also developed an awareness about spreading the tree
cover on planet earth.
