GAVEL CLUB

ISWK[Cambridge]’s Gaveliers

The Gavel Club, as an affiliate of Toastmasters, provides an opportunity for students
to be in a mutually supportive environment in which they can develop public speaking
and leadership skills.
Gavel club runs similar to Toastmasters club meeting protocols, held on alternate
Saturdays. Each session consists of prepared speeches, evaluations, table topics
and roles, like Gavelier Of The Day, Word master, Ah-counter and grammarian, Timer,
and Hark master.
The club is conducted by the gaveliers taking different responsibilities, like
President, Vice President of Education, Vice President of Public Relations, and
Sergeant at Arms under the guidance of Toastmasters mentors.

The members for the current session are:
President- Ruchit Karnik,
Vice President Education- Maitreya P. Gajbhiye
Vice President Public Relations- Prisha Rahul Mishra
