Cricket Tour to South
Africa
This summer holiday was the
most memorable one because I
traveled to South Africa as part of
the U15 cricket contingent from
Oman Cricket Academy. The
team performed very well, and
we won 2 out of 5 matches. As it
was my first experience on
foreign soil, I learnt how to play
on pitches which behave
differently. We experienced
amazing team bonding as we
stayed together in Nelspruit High
School for 8 days and at Numbi
hotel for 2 days. We played
against Johan Rudolph Cricket
Academy at the Lowveld High
School cricket ground. As part of
our Safari experience, we saw
amazing wildlife like elephants,
hyenas, lionesses, buffalos and
giraffes. Overall, it was a
fantastic experience.
