CODING FOR

THE FUTURE

MECKATHON 2022

ISWKi had the privilege to participate in
MECKATHON 2022 organised by Middle
East College, Al Rusail, Muscat, held on 26th
and 27th August 2022. Our school was

represented by the AS Level learners. There
were two teams who were mentored by the
educators Mr. John Kurian and Ms. Sreeja
Bhojan.

“As technology is progressing, it is essential
for the current generations to pitch in their
innovations for a better future. We are

grateful for the opportunity that helped us
contribute to this massive share of possible
technological developments. We were
provided with multiple themes and we chose

to delve deeper into the healthcare system.
To help our community, we proposed the
idea of an app along with a card that
provides the medical experts with our health

history, facilitates provision of insurance and
guidance for minor issues.
This was a great platform for us
to share our ideas as well as

meet new people with similar
enthusiasm. It was a great
experience, where we were
provided with multiple facilities,
amazing food and a very
empathetic team to supervise
us. The experience will be
etched in our minds."
