English Week Celebrations

A special assembly was conducted in our
school to commemorate the English

International Day on the 24th April 2022. The
programme was organized and
synchronized remarkably well. The hosts,

Abraar (VIIID) and Shahira (VIII C)
showcased an exemplary display of their
anchoring skill. Their ability to retain the
attention of the audience was highly
commendable.

The event commenced with a prayer recital
by Aarya (VII D). It was followed by Thought

of the Day, by Arnav (VII C) & Word of the
day, by Dev (8D). Everyone present were
completely engrossed by the presentation of
Sai Karthik (VIII D), whose topic, Evolution of
English Language was informative as well

as educative. Another pinnacle performance
was the Speech on Conservation of
Environment by Aryana (VI C) It was both
thought generating and scintillating to the

audience. This was trailed by a mind -
boggling skit which was enacted by the
Learners Gritha , Akshita & Aarya (VIII C),
Darsh & Kaivalya (VIII D) and Afraz (VD). They

demonstrated a mesmerizing family saga,
which was highly appreciated by everyone.
This was followed by Principal’s address.
Our magnanimous and versatile Principal sir

complimented both the learners and the
educators for staging such an event. The
programme culminated with a vote of
thanks by Serene (VIII C).

On the whole, the assembly was concluded
magnificently. The event was a grand
success. Kudos to the learners of ISWKi!
