Get, Set, Go!

Senior Sports Day

On the 19th of January 2023, ISWKi hosted its 4th Annual Sports Meet, a
day filled with fervor and excitement experienced amidst thrills, shrills and

cheers. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr. Al Azhar Saud Al Salmi, Deputy
Director - International Schools Office, Ministry of Education, Muscat and

Guest of honor Mr. Nader Naser, Investment and Marketing Advisor in the

minister’s office, Ministry of culture, sports and youth.

The majestic school band gave a royal welcome treat to the Chief Guest
and the other Guests. The formal welcome was followed by carrying the

Presidency Torch by the 6 pillars of the School Council- Head Girl, Head
Boy, Deputy Head Boy, Deputy Head Girl, Activity Captain and the Sport

Captain. The opening of the Sport Meet was declared by the Chief Guest.
This was followed by the Inter-House March Past, a highly competitive

event where the four houses eyed for first place. All the learners of the
Houses were part of the Oath-Taking ceremony which was headed by the

Sport Captain Master Trushant Raghwani.

The audience next witnessed various displays symbolizing alternative
sources of energy. The displays made way for the highly awaited athletic

events and fun games where competitiveness among the students soared

through the roof.
