IT’S STORY TIME!

What do kids love? Undoubtedly stories!!
Books are the bridge between kids and their imaginations. They help to

expand our knowledge and assist in development and enhancement of our
children in their day to day life.

Why do children love to hear stories?
Children have a mind which is full of curiosity and imaginations. Always

exploring ideas and fantasies. They always search for places where they can
correlate and express their imagination.

There are stories which help in exploration of the unknown, educational and
generate curiosity to learn and understand different topics like Curious

George, Fixies and Magic School Bus. There are stories which impart values
of Family, friendship and sharing like Daniel Tiger’s Neighbourhood, Lego

Friends and Classic Tales like Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks’ and the three
bears, Gulliver’s Travels etc. and instil moral and philosophical values with

mythological elements and are moral bedtime stories. In many instances
they also assist in the development of vocabulary.
We, the educators of ISWKI would like to assist our future generation to

enact their fantasies and make the impossible possible during this current
scenario. The theme was "My Favourite Story Character” where learners

dressed up wonderfully and used props, toys and printouts and became the
character themselves. They spoke a few words about the character and

their famous dialogues.
In these unprecedented times, we understand the efforts by the parent

fraternity to assist us in imparting knowledge and education to our children
and ISWKI is thankful for the support extended to us and request you to
continue supporting us further.
